Consultation
Great wedding photography is created by a partnership between the couple and the photographer. I work best when my clients love what I do, give me time to do it, and respect the art involved. People look their best when they are being photographed by someone they trust, like and enjoy being around. To start our journey together we first meet for a private consultation, to see if we ‘fit’. This is a good time for you to review some more of my work and to see my albums. We’ll talk about your plans, take a look at your timeline for the big day and I can use my 15 years of experience to offer advice. Generally, family posed portraits take 45 minutes to an hour, and I like to have between 1 and 2 hours for the romantic portraits of the couple, and the fun shots with the bridal party. It is YOUR day though, and I aim to bend how I shoot around your plans.

Wedding day
I offer coverage to suit everyone’s needs, but the average day looks something like this: preparations, posed shots of the bridal party and the bride and groom. Ceremony. Posed family portraits. Fun shots of the bridal party followed by romantic shots of the couple. All the fun of the party! Every wedding is different though, and I use my years of experience to follow the flow of your day as needed.

After the wedding
After backing up your precious memories to multiple drives, I then edit the wedding down into the story of your day. Each image is corrected for color and contrast, and the album (if your package has one) is pre-designed. 4 to 6 weeks after your wedding the proofs are ready for you to view. The online gallery will be live and your family and friends can then order prints. Every print ordered from me will be custom color toned and retouched to look it’s best, and printed by a pro lab. Once the album is complete you will receive the DVD of high resolution Digital Negatives to take home. All images used in the album will also receive my Photoshop TLC.
