May 20, 2010June Pinned-Up workshop – exciting news!
April 13, 2010For those of you that follow my pin-up work, you’ll know that my very first pin-up model was the lovely Cherry Dollface – this is the first pin-up we shot together. Not very “pin-uppy” I’ll admit, but we did end up shooting some amazing images together.
She moved to LA a couple of years ago, so we haven’t shot together since. However, I can announce today that she will be modeling for me and the students at my Pinned-Up workshop in Santa Clarita in June!!
On the road again…
December 14, 2009So, after proclaiming that my traveling for 2009 was now finished…here I am sitting at Portland airport having breakfast (the Denver scramble of course!) waiting for my flight!
I’m off to Denver again for another shoot with Sam Puc’. This one is for her 2011 tour promo. Yes, it’s a bit early to be promoting a tour a year away, but Sam is taking a guest speaker on the road in ‘11, and they are keen to get the buzz started early! No more details yet – all will be revealed in good time! (and no, the guest speaker isn’t me!!)

December 8, 2009Here are the final 11 images that Sandy Puc and her team will be using to promote her 2010 tour! This was a great project to work on as it not only involved shooting and post-production, but also working with a large team of amazing professionals. I can’t wait to see these images on the final products. For those of you in Portland, she hits town on February 22nd..book your tickets now!
The post-production on these images used a mix of Pindora’s Box (From Mama Shan and myself!) and Design House From the great Andy Armstrong.

November 28, 2009Ok folks – you’ve been very patient! We can’t show you the finished Animoto ad spot yet – that’ll have to wait till the magazines roll off the presses and hit the stands, but here is one from the other project we are working on…And boy was this fun to shoot!!
Not going to tell you where this one is headed…you’ll have to wait n see!
Soda Fountain Kourteney
November 16, 2009Another shot from the NoBS Inferno in Nashville. After explaining my lighting set-up, and some basic ideas about pin-up posing, I relaxed Kourteney with some easy shots using a phone, then we went into a soda fountain theme. This shot, as with about 90% of all my shots, was taken against a plain white background. This was then processed using my new Pindora actions and taken into the Pindora Virtual Room. I added stock shots to complete the image.

Two more backstage with Dottie Diamond
September 18, 2009I’m loving this project – it’s fueling my creative fire big time. These will form a companion to the main Carnival of Sins project. I have no idea where this project will end up, but the journey is very exciting! These shots are meant to look like they’ve seen better days, and are candid views of life backstage at the Carnival. I’ll be shooting similar ones for the other girls and characters.
