“I have been thinking about when you asked me why I had chosen you to create the photos of Dan and I. I thought about it quite a bit actually. I hate to think of myself as a snob (cause… well, you know I’m not) but I really wanted something that captured us in all our gawky, quirky love and I know from experience just how hard that is to do. The image that you took that sung to my heart was the stunning photo of Cherry with the mascara all runny and her beautiful, sharp, sad eyes. It gave me goose bumps… and it takes a lot to create that reaction in me these days. I am a little desensitized to the magic of photography. You put the magic back for me at a time when I was craving inspiration. I wanted photos with feeling, not just pretty pictures. I can see by the preview that you have captured that magic in us too.
