August 15, 2009Wow! What a great day! You may remember Ash and Ben from our recent pin-up themed engagement shoot… Well today they tied the knot out at Cannon Beach, and it was great fun. While messing around getting the shot of these two out by the breaking surf, Ash (after much prompting from me all day long) finally announced: “Eff it, I’m sitting in the sea!!!” and she plonked down into the cold water….I get off 4 shots before the water got too cold and the sun sank below the clouds – a fantastic and impromptu Trash The Dress session!!

Ashley and Ben – awesome Portland engagement session
July 31, 2009Meet Ashley and Ben. This couple rank as one of my funnest wedding couples ever! They are getting married at the beach in August, and they wanted something different and cool for their engagement portraits – so we headed into the studio and shot a pin-up inspired session!!
The results….well – they both look stunning!
These guys came to me via Powers Studios, who I’m shooting some of my weddings for this summer.
Erin and Matt – Deepwood Estate Wedding
July 19, 2009A fine day indeed!! The lovely Erin, and the suave Matt tied the knot at the Deepwood Estate, Salem. A great time was had by all. Erin and Matt had the amazing experience of being married by Erin’s father!
Wendy and Jason – Portland Yacht Club Wedding
July 13, 2009Wendy and Jason tied the knot on Saturday at the Portland Yacht Club and I was there all day to capture the action! We started at the Peninsula Park Rose Garden for some fun shots, then the wedding itself at the Yacht Club. We just caught the last of the sun for some great portraits too!

June 15, 2009Anyone who has their reception in a brewery is Royalty as far as I’m concerned – so Matt and Allison and I were always going to get along just fine!! Their wedding was in Lake Oswego before we all scampered up to the Bridgeport Brewery for some fun and games! This was one of my many weddings this summer shooting for the great Powers Studios, in Portland.
