Ok - so I’ve been a bad blogger….2 weeks since I last posted! Wedding season ended for me last week with the marriage of Stacy and Kyle up at Bridal Veil Lakes, and I’ve been busy catching up on processing, commercial work and some pin-ups and have just not updated the blog!! Sorry!
So - here are a few from my last wedding of 2008. If you are getting married in 2009 then get in touch, we have some awesome plans for next year!

These two kids have been together for 18 years, and NOW they decide to tie the knot!! Jason is one big fella, so to see him ball like a baby when he saw his bride brought a tear to everyone - including me!! What a wonderful day - thanks for the fun guys!

Meet the lovely Tori, and the awesome Andrew! I photographed their engagement session earlier in the year so they knew what to expect on their big day! We had a ton of fun and the dancing was wild!

Check out Jessica and Nic - cuter than a bug’s ear! Childhood sweethearts who tied the knot in a beautiful ceremony up at Bridal Veil Lakes a couple of weeks ago (yeah…I’m still behind in blogging!).
A great day was had by all - all the best to Mr and Mrs Hall!

Minh and Floyd - 2 sweeter people you couldn’t hope to meet! Their wedding was great fun, and afterwards we headed down for an hour or so of great portrait time around OMSI. Here are 5 of my faves from the day:

Here are a few more from Lysa and Mark’s big day a couple of weeks ago. Awesome fun!

So - a whole week with no blog update is far too long…but hey! I’ve been busy! We are deep into wedding season right now, and each weekend I’ve been truly lucky to have such amazing clients to work with!
Last weekend it was BG and Carlos. This was a last minute arrangement to help out my buddy Ben Powers, and it turned out to be one of the sweetest days…and also one of the hottest! (102f in the church…pheew!)

A week late, but here are some of my favorites from an awesome wedding at Persimmon’s Country club, and then the party afterwards at La Costita - which just happens to be the groom’s own restaurant!!Their first dance…man - didn’t see that coming….not your average slow song for this couple, these two rocked the house with a banging Latin dance number, including dancing right through the restaurant and back!! Great fun.
!This was another wedding that I shot as an associate photographer for Power’s Studios here in Portland.

Not really a get out of the shot - but this is a fun image from my 2nd photographer from Lysa and Mark’s wedding on Friday! We had a blast wandering around the Pearl District as the sun was going down! Here’s a shot from Cammie (great job Cammie!) and then the shot that I was taking at the time!
This was another wedding that I shot as an associate photographer for Power’s Studios here in Portland.

This was a full, but very satisfying day’s shooting. Lisa and Auston - a lovely romantic couple! We started the day out at Edgefield, and ended it down by the river next to Omsi, in the dead of night!! Great fun!

Yup - it’s a never-ending habit. Here I am spoiling a perfectly good shot from my 2nd shooter Derek last weekend. Sorry mate!! What can I say, I like to get in the thick of the action!
Sarita and Jaime - two cool cats getting hitched in August…should be a blast!

Corinne and Spencer! So good, I shot them twice in the same week!! Ok - so having your engagement shoot 2 days before the wedding is a little unusual, but it was a great evening, and I’ve just downloaded my cards from their beautiful wedding today and what an awesome day it was!! Here are a few sneak peaks of the e-session from Thursday, and 2 very quick ones from today…more soon! Best of luck to the happy couple!

What? Two engagement posts in the same day? Are you mad Mike?? Nope - just catching up on my processing!! Lysa and Mark flew into Portland for this session - they recently moved to St Louis but will be getting married here in August. We had a wonderful time wandering around the gardens - both naturals for the camera!

Meet Stacey and Kyle…an awesome young couple who I’m dead excited to shoot on their wedding day in September. They then jet off to Italy for a romantic honeymoon…Jealous?? Well, maybe a little!!

Wedding photography is hard work on a mild day…today it was hawwwwt! Luckily, I seem to have been gifted a fantastic bunch of clients this year, and today’s couple, Jenica and Bart, continued my fantastic run of wonderful, happy and romantic weddings this summer. Eagle eyed readers will recognise these two from their engagement session earlier in the year. Like many of my couples, they are naturals for the camera, willing to play and have fun, and I had an amazing time being part of their wedding. Here are a couple of faves as they crossed my screen tonight - more soon! Best of luck to Mr and Mrs Bishop!!

As regular readers will know - this year I’m shooting 15 weddings for the great Powers Oregon Company here in Portland. Craig and I have often discussed which direction to take Times Two Studios and I’ve finally convinced him that weddings are where we should be going! So - for 2009, something new for Portland. Something exciting. Something AWESOME. More details to come, but we are going to be offering a new take on wedding photography bringing the combined photographic and retouching skills of Craig and myself together in one package. If you are getting married in 2009 and want details get in touch! More info coming soon….
Darla and Todd - the highlights!
Sunshine and Grady’s big day…to music….awesome!
Ashleigh and Liam….a bridal fashion shoot. Why? Fun that’s why!!I’ve worked with both of these guys before and have been wanting to do some edgy fashion based bridal shots for a while in an urban environment, so since they are both awesome looking thought I’d put them together and have some fun. Now…as a professional, I’m not going to divulge the comedy of errors that transpired before we actually got the shoot off the ground (all MY errors..these two were great!) but let’s just say that by the time we actually got some frames off, I was in stress city! We all relaxed and got into it, and the setting couldn’t have been better. More to come as I get to work them, here’s one to show how great they look.
