A little under a year ago we took Henry to the beach for the first time - he was a baby then…he’s a little boy now!! We stayed in Lincoln City and had some fun on the lovely sandy beach, which was freeeeeeeezing! Damn Oregon weather!

We took Henry to the beach for the first time here in Oregon. Of course, in California we lived 2 minutes from the beach, so it wasn’t his actual first time, but it was the first time he had a little walk in the sand and splashed in the sea!Canon Beach on the Pacific Coast is a great place, relaxed clean and friendly. We had a great time, and Henry loved the sand!
My son, Henry, the inspiration and driving force behind Baby Feet Foto, is almost a year old. Well, he’s almost 10 months old….but as every parent knows, almost 10 months is *almost* a year!It still amazes me sometimes that I’m a father. He brings an endless amount of joy to Alison and I, and I truely can’t imagine life without him.He’s starting to look like he’s going to take that first, daring unassisted step anyday soon…before we know it he’s going to be hitting us up for his first wheels! Since I spend most of my waking hours with a camera clamped to my face, usually pointed to someone else’s baby, I am making a very big effort to document my own little superstars daily life. Here’s a few recent ones….
Baby Feet Foto isn’t just a business for me. Many of my past clients have become friends. When we moved up to Portland from San Francisco, we sadly had to leave behind many great friends we’d made; some of whom started were members of the Baby Feet Gang. Henry loved hanging out with ‘his girls’, and just before we left we all got together and Henry said his goodbyes!Keen eyed readers will spot Abigail and Eliza, both Baby Feet Babies!
It’s Father’s Day…this one is even more special for me, as it’s my first as a father! Since my little superstar first bounced into our lives late last year the whole world has turned on it’s head - he’s the coolest damn boy on Earth and he’s also the inspiration behind Baby Feet Foto.So I’ll say cheers and raise a glass to all the fathers out there…enjoy your day, but make sure that you treat everyday as the most special with your child!Henry, my son:
