Meet Ashley and Ben. This couple rank as one of my funnest wedding couples ever! They are getting married at the beach in August, and they wanted something different and cool for their engagement portraits – so we headed into the studio and shot a pin-up inspired session!!
The results….well – they both look stunning!

My first e-session of the year!! Katie and Thayer are getting married in the summer and we had a great time messing around by the train tracks for this session.
As last year, I’ll be shooting some weddings for Powers Oregon this summer and this is one of those weddings.
Sarita and Jaime – two cool cats getting hitched in August…should be a blast!
This was shot just outside the studio down on the train tracks – my favorite location.
Corinne and Spencer! So good, I’m shooting them twice this week!! First, their engagement session. Usually we do this a few months before the wedding, but scheduling conflicts meant that we shot it this week, just before they get married!

Meet Vicki and Dan. Vicki is a friend of mine from a photo forum, and a fellow photographer. Her and hubby Dan are from Canada and very used being out in the elements. She contacted me a while back to see if I could capture them in a portrait / Trash the dress session when they hit town for a few days….certainly!! I had no idea they’d be this much fun! After an hour or so messing around in my favorite Portland location (abandoned factory) we headed for the Gorge and a waterfall. Both game for a laugh, they got right in there…under the waterfall, and laying down in the freezing waters! I got in there too, up to my knees only though….I had a camera to protect!!

What? Two engagement posts in the same day? Are you mad Mike?? Nope – just catching up on my processing!! Lysa and Mark flew into Portland for this session – they recently moved to St Louis but will be getting married here in August. We had a wonderful time wandering around the gardens – both naturals for the camera!
Meet Stacey and Kyle…an awesome young couple who I’m dead excited to shoot on their wedding day in September. They then jet off to Italy for a romantic honeymoon…Jealous?? Well, maybe a little!!
Kim and Adam – wow…what a session!! With the rain fast approaching, these two rocked the hell out of this, and we had a ton of fun. Both naturals for the camera they relaxed and enjoyed it. Kim could easily be a model…seriously Kim…wanna do some modelling?!!?Way too many favorites to pick just a few…so here are many!!! On a side note – I’ve been trying some new processing on these…I miss the look of film, and have messed around with some techniques that move toward that.
