Mandy – Carnival of Sins…
August 25, 2009I’ve long been a believer that photographers need to shoot projects that get their creative juices flowing. While I love wedding photography, and pin-up photography, I do feel the need to let loose and be creative with no barriers from time to time. This year I’ve embarked on a project called ‘Carnival of Sins’. Yes, I’m aware that Mötley Crüe had a tour with that name… !
My Carnival of Sins is based around a Victorian era freak show, with stunning pin-ups in weird and wonderful scenes. It’s quite the project, and it may end up taking a couple of years to complete. As images are ready I’ll be sharing.

Katie and Thayer – Gerding Theatre wedding
August 23, 2009I posted a quick shot of Katie last week – here are some more of my favorites from their awesome wedding at the Gerding Theatre, Portland. After the fabulous ceremony they jumped on the Portland street car and headed for the Bridgeport Brewery for some fun!
Ashley and Ben – Cannon Beach Wedding sneak peak!
August 15, 2009Wow! What a great day! You may remember Ash and Ben from our recent pin-up themed engagement shoot… Well today they tied the knot out at Cannon Beach, and it was great fun. While messing around getting the shot of these two out by the breaking surf, Ash (after much prompting from me all day long) finally announced: “Eff it, I’m sitting in the sea!!!” and she plonked down into the cold water….I get off 4 shots before the water got too cold and the sun sank below the clouds – a fantastic and impromptu Trash The Dress session!!
