Rachel and Erik – a lovely couple, a fantastic wedding, and our first wedding of the year!

I’ll be shooting Natalie and Patrick’s wedding later in the summer for Powers Studios – here is there cool engagement session!

Again, just having fun…this is going to be an ongoing project!

A new project for this year – bobbleheads!! For no reason what-so-ever other than to create fun images. Personal projects keep the creative mind fresh. I’m also working on a huge project which won’t be unveiled until the end of the year, but it’s going to be awesome!!

My first e-session of the year!! Katie and Thayer are getting married in the summer and we had a great time messing around by the train tracks for this session.
As last year, I’ll be shooting some weddings for Powers Oregon this summer and this is one of those weddings.

Meet the lovely Allison, a nurse by trade who wanted some hot pin-ups just for herself!!

I’ve been a bad blogger again! I have a good excuse this time – I’ve been very busy getting ready for wedding season and also hosted a workshop here at the studio for 19 photographers.
The No Limits: Portland Workshop was a 2 day intensive photography and retouching bootcamp for photographers to learn pin-up and glamour techniques.
Day one: Pin-Up.
First day’s activities were my domain – the lovely Pin-Ups! I had two awesome models join me, Mandy and Christine, and my usual make-up artist Hollie came along to work her magic. The day was split into two – the morning was given over to posing and lighting instruction, the afternoon was devoted to my full post-production techniques. For photographers reading this stay tuned – there will be more workshops in the future, and I’m also going to be adding a ‘For Photographers’ section to this site soon offering advice and products to help your photography.

Day Two:
Andy Armstrong – a fantastic photography from Knoxville was in charge on day two. In the morning he instructed posing and lighting for relaxed glamour photography using both flash and available light. In the afternoon, he showed his full workflow and took questions about Photoshop and retouching in general, and demonstrated products from his Design|House range of tools for digital photographers, including the great new Destination Vegas pack.
