Big Pin-Up news!!!

As promised – some big news for fans of pin-up photography. After months of behind the scenes preparations, I’m very pleased to unveil….Portland Pin-Ups!!! The 50’s are back and more popular than ever, so celebrate with an awesome portrait session in the classic pin-up style! You’ll feel pampered and loved in my studio, starting with the attention of a professional make-up artist and hair stylist! Then we have a fun filled hour or so shooting you in all sorts of cheesy scenes. Then I work my retouching magic to produce a portrait that will wow you and your friends, and that you will treasure for years to come. If pin-up isn’t your thing, I also shoot glamour and ‘intimate’ style portraits – perfect for capturing your beauty and cherishing into the future.

Lisa and Auston – Hitched!

This was a full, but very satisfying day’s shooting. Lisa and Auston – a lovely romantic couple! We started the day out at Edgefield, and ended it down by the river next to Omsi, in the dead of night!! Great fun!

This was another wedding that I shot as an associate photographer for Power’s Studios here in Portland.

Hacked…(off)…

In the early hours of this morning my site was hacked. A small malicious file was placed in every single folder that directed people away from my site and onto a virus site.

Thanks.

It’s taken pretty much all day to identify what happened and try to deal with it. At the moment, all links are broken, although the main page is back up.

I’ll fix it as soon as I can! I may update my blog software while I’m at it and that might break the whole thing…stay tuned!

Corinne and Spencer! So good, I’m shooting them twice this week!! First, their engagement session. Usually we do this a few months before the wedding, but scheduling conflicts meant that we shot it this week, just before they get married!

Vicki and Dan – Crazy Canadians!

If anyone ever asks you if the water flowing from Mt Hood is cold…you can tell them from me that it’s FREEZING!!!

Meet Vicki and Dan. Vicki is a friend of mine from a photo forum, and a fellow photographer. Her and hubby Dan are from Canada and very used being out in the elements. She contacted me a while back to see if I could capture them in a portrait / Trash the dress session when they hit town for a few days….certainly!! I had no idea they’d be this much fun! After an hour or so messing around in my favorite Portland location (abandoned factory) we headed for the Gorge and a waterfall. Both game for a laugh, they got right in there…under the waterfall, and laying down in the freezing waters! I got in there too, up to my knees only though….I had a camera to protect!!

Lysa and Mark flew into Portland for this session – they recently moved to St Louis but will be getting married here in August. We had a wonderful time wandering around the gardens – both naturals for the camera!
